Why should I change my filter?

The benefits of germ and virus protection that lasts 6 months. If you would like to benefit from this feature then we recommend changing it every 6-8 months.

How does a filter do that?

The filter is made in two parts. The first being a sediment filter that picks up particles that may be in the water, thus protecting the internal systems from being clogged or any build-up occurring on the heating elements. The second is the carbon filter impregnated with colloidal silver that helps remove bacteria, germs and viruses.

Benefits

Not only does it extend the lifespan of the internal parts whilst keeping them germ free, it also helps remove the nasties from the areas on the person that it washes. Studies have proven that this has been particularly beneficial when it comes to reducing the recurrence of UTIs.

What happens if I don’t change my filter?

It has been advised by the manufacturer that the maximum lifespan  is 2 years. If used for longer than the recommended time period it may clog or degrade, which may result in the leaking.
